My goal is to turn every ugly banner into an iconic beautiful sign.

Nothing says temporary like a banner in front of a business. Now it's okay if you are trying to advertise that you will be opening soon, but come on,
if you are really serious about your business, put up a sign.

You need a sign that tells the public what your business is about, not something flopping in the wind that says
"if this doesn't work out, I'm out of here."

Local Heroes come to the rescue . . .

A couple of my favorite customers, Tom Douglas and DoubleDown Interactive came to the rescue of the July 4th fireworks display that was in jeopardy of being cancelled.

Production company One Reel announced earlier this month that the fireworks would be cancelled due to lack of funds. The fireworks show has faced several years of last-minute funding efforts in order to keep the tradition going.

The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Seafair announced Tuesday that several companies have stepped up to fund the fireworks show this year and for several years to come, including presenting sponsors Amazon.com Inc., DoubleDown Interactive and Microsoft Corp. Other major sponsors include Starbucks Corp., Wells Fargo and Tom Douglas Restaurants.

Hats off to these generous local heroes, stop by and thank them.
