My goal is to turn every ugly banner into an iconic beautiful sign.

Nothing says temporary like a banner in front of a business. Now it's okay if you are trying to advertise that you will be opening soon, but come on,
if you are really serious about your business, put up a sign.

You need a sign that tells the public what your business is about, not something flopping in the wind that says
"if this doesn't work out, I'm out of here."

The Seattle Art Museum has some new bling on the NW corner of 1st and Union!  After a year in the making, Western Neon is proud to announce its role in the newly unveiled MIRROR project by artist Doug Aitken.

The MIRROR project consists of 2 large LED video panels spanning half of the blocks on the 1st and Union sides of the building.  Western Neon provided the new stainless steel SAM lettering, with mirror finishes to reflect the steady stream of Northwest photography and video shot by the artist that captures the essence of our everyday life here in the Emerald City and surrounding landscapes.  The SAM lettering is 8' tall, constructed of faceted polished steel panels to catch a variety of light and reflections from different angles; edge illuminated with hundreds feet of white LED lighting.

We encourage you to visit this permanent exterior artwork - especially around dusk and into the evening - to see what a fantastic edition this is to the neighborhood and the City of Seattle!
